Synopsis of The Ministry of Time
Julián Martínez, a paramedic with the SAMUR emergency service in 21st-century Madrid, Alonso de Entrerríos, a soldier in the Spanish Army of Flanders, and Amelia Folch, a 19th-century university student, form the newest patrol of The Ministry of Time. It is a secret department of the Spanish government that guards the doors of time to keep intruders from other eras from altering history for their own benefit. The agency reports directly to the Office of the Prime Minister, bypassing the rest of the ministers, and only a select few know it exists: monarchs, presidents, and a very small number of people. Created by brothers Pablo and Javier Olivares, the series airs on TVE's La 1 and stars Rodolfo Sancho, Aura Garrido, and Nacho Fresneda.
