What Season 7 of The Love Boat

The seventh season keeps the show's format. The Pacific Princess, under the command of Captain Merrill Stubing, welcomes new guests whose stories mix humor, romance and drama. Julie McCoy has a blind date with a clumsy, unrefined man whose advances drive her crazy. A woman traveling incognito so she won't have to testify at a trial falls in love with a passenger, while an award-winning novelist suffers blackmail from his secretary, who travels with him and his jealous wife. In Hong Kong, a senator with presidential ambitions falls for a businesswoman who wants to open a huge casino, and his aide tries to stop the romance for image reasons. Gopher and Isaac, wearing trench coats, follow a former spy around the city.
