What Season 2 of The Love Boat

Season two keeps the setting of the Pacific Princess, a luxury cruise ship sailing the seas under the command of Captain Merrill Stubing, played by Gavin MacLeod. Working alongside him are Dr. Adam Bricker, the steward Isaac Washington and cruise director Julie McCoy, who attend to new guests in every episode. The stories blend a comedic plot centered on the crew, a romantic comedy and a more serious storyline. Many begin with estranged couples trying to reconcile before the voyage ends. Among the conflicts, Julie's parents stand out, arriving on the ship to announce their divorce, along with the captain's godson, who travels with a wife he has been married to for two years and has barely seen because of his military duty.

Due to a misunderstanding, each believes the other is to blame for cutting off their affair.
