Along Came a Spider

Morgan Freeman plays Alex Cross again, a role they had already played in Kiss the Girls, a police detective, psychologist and bestselling novelist from Washington, D.C., who has given up playing mind games with criminals... until a methodical predator, Gary Soneji, commits a daring kidnapping and draws Cross in by leaving evidence from the case in his mailbox. Soneji wants no ransom, but something far more important: a place in the history books. He wants Cross to write about him after committing the crime of the century. Soneji plans every move like a spider spinning its web. Cross and Secret Service agent Jezzie Flannigan race against time to stop him.
