Due Date

The characters played by Robert Downey Jr. and Zach Galifianakis are two unlikely companions who embark on a road trip that turns out to be as transformative for their lives as it is outrageous. The film also features Michelle Monaghan and Oscar winner Jamie Foxx. Downey plays Peter Highman, an expectant first-time father whose wife has only five days until her due date. When Peter rushes to catch a flight home to Atlanta so he can be with her for the birth, his good intentions fall apart when a chance encounter with aspiring actor Ethan Tremblay (Galifianakis) forces Peter to hitchhike with Ethan, and what turns out to be a cross-country road trip ends up costing several cars, some friendships and Peter's nerves.
