Hanna

Hanna is sixteen years old and lives with her father, Erik, in the wild forests of northern Finland, far from any town. Her days are spent hunting and undergoing demanding physical training that her father directs with discipline. Erik has taught her to read and write using an encyclopedia and a book of fairy tales, and the young woman barely knows the culture or technology of the modern world. Hanna is curious and very close to her father, and her life follows a routine that no one has ever questioned. Directed by Joe Wright, the film stars Saoirse Ronan and Eric Bana.
