Clarence is a young woman who lives among the snowy mountains of Huesca. An unexpected discovery leads her to travel to Spanish Guinea, a former African colony where her uncle Kilian spent much of his youth. Her goal is to find out what that life was like and what her family left behind there. To do so, she will have to explore the island of Fernando Poo, now Bioko, and talk with those who knew them. The story alternates between Clarence's present and Kilian's past, who in 1954 returns to the land where he was born to join his father Antón and his brother Jacobo in the cacao harvest. Fernando González Molina directs the film, which stars Adriana Ugarte and Mario Casas.
