Seventh Son

Eighteenth century. Young Thomas (Ben Barnes, 'The Picture of Dorian Gray') must learn to be a sorcerer and fight and battle evil spirits with the help of a powerful specter (played by Jeff Bridges, 'The Big Lebowski') who will teach him the arts of the beyond. Thomas, the seventh son of a seventh son (which is why he must go with Master Gregory), must leave his home and embark on a dangerous adventure that will take him to the depths of the physical world, through a series of extraordinary adventures as marvelous as they are spine-chilling. His first challenge will be to capture a powerful witch (Julianne Moore, 'Magnolia') who has escaped and wants to spread evil wherever she goes, after having deceived a young woman, Alice (Alicia Vikander, 'A Royal Affair'), who seduces him to achieve her goals.
