Synopsis of Modern Love

Modern Love is a romantic comedy anthology series created by John Carney and airing on Amazon Prime Video. It is based on the New York Times weekly column of the same name, and each of its roughly thirty-minute episodes adapts a different love story. The stories take place in New York City, where the series explores love in its many forms: sexual, romantic, familial, platonic and self-love. Each story has its own characters and its own premise, so viewers move from one story to the next without a shared plot. The main cast includes Olivia Cooke, Quincy Tyler Bernstine, Brandon Victor Dixon, Jane Alexander, James Saito, Dev Patel, Anne Hathaway and Gary Carr.
