Underworld: Awakening

Fifteen years have passed since Selene and her lover Michael, a human-lycan hybrid, defeated the Elder Vampire Marcus in Underworld Evolution. In those years, humanity has discovered the existence of both the vampire and lycan clans and has launched a fierce struggle to wipe out both species. Selene, captured during the genocide, awakens after more than a decade and realizes she is held captive in a sealed laboratory at Antigen, a powerful biotech corporation dedicated to developing a vaccine against the viruses that created vampires and lycans. Selene is devastated when she learns Michael is dead, but her grief is overshadowed by the discovery that, while she was in cryogenic stasis, she gave birth to their daughter, Eve.
