Trivia about A Perfect Story

In April 2021, Netflix announced it was developing three adaptations of Spanish books, including the Elísabet Benavent novel the series is based on.
The singer Russian Red took part in the project, a detail Netflix revealed in November 2022 when it announced the start of filming.
The series was filmed in locations including Greece and Madrid, splitting its shoot between two countries.
Pere Solà Gimferrer of La Vanguardia believes the series shows a total lack of respect for the romantic comedy genre.
Filming began in October 2022, and Netflix confirmed the miniseries would have five episodes, a shorter run than many Spanish series on the platform.
Anna Castillo and Álvaro Mel fell in love during filming, according to later reports about the series.
The production shot two different endings so viewers could choose which one to watch at the end of the miniseries.
After its premiere, the series reached No. 1 on Netflix globally, although a second season has not been confirmed.
