What Season 2 of American Horror Story

Season 2 is set in Briarcliff, a mansion built in 1908 that served as a tuberculosis center on the East Coast. In 1962, the Catholic Church buys it and turns it into an asylum for criminals with dementia. There, highly dangerous inmates live alongside a staff hiding their own secrets, including a serial killer known as Bloody Face. Sister Jude, Monsignor Howard and Dr. Arden are among the characters driving the plot, and each one carries a past they don't want exposed. Life between patients and religious figures grows increasingly unsettling as internal conflicts and external threats intertwine.
