Synopsis of Blue Planet II

Blue Planet II is a British documentary series about marine life, produced by the BBC and broadcast on BBC One. Sir David Attenborough returns as narrator, as he did in the original series in 2001, and takes viewers across the oceans of the entire planet. Filming crews follow animals from the nearest coasts to the abyssal depths, passing through coral reefs and underwater deserts. The series focuses on the wildlife that inhabits each of these habitats and how it lives in them. Its premise starts from a delicate moment for ocean ecosystems, and the story centers on the need to raise awareness of that situation and on the way marine life responds to it.
