Synopsis of Cardcaptor Sakura

Sakura Kinomoto is ten years old and lives in Japan. One day, in her father's library, she accidentally opens a book and releases a group of magical cards hidden inside. Kero, the book's guardian, emerges from its pages and explains that most of these cards, known as Clow Cards, have scattered everywhere. If no one recovers them, the world could face a catastrophe, so Sakura must become a cardcaptor. With Kero's guidance, she must locate each card, learn to control its powers and capture it before it causes trouble. The first episode sets up the starting point of a quest that aired on NHK Educational TV, with scripts by Ageha Ohkawa.
