Descendants of the Sun

In Seoul, Captain Yoo Si-jin, leader of a special forces unit of the South Korean Army, meets Dr. Kang Mo-yeon after an altercation. The attraction they feel pushes them to get closer, even though their paths are very different. Si-jin must always be ready for combat, and his team receives orders that send them into dangerous situations from which he always manages to come out alive. Mo-yeon, for her part, leads a hectic professional life at the hospital, and her work ends up intruding on the relationship. The series thus presents a romance between two people with opposite ways of understanding life and duty, who will have to find a way to fit together despite their differences. Kim Eun-sook and Kim Won-seok write the script, and KBS 2TV airs it. Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo lead the cast.
