Elementary: Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) is a disgraced Scotland Yard consultant who leaves London and settles in Brooklyn, New York, to overcome his addiction to illegal substances. There he lives with his sober companion, Joan Watson (Lucy Liu), a doctor with a difficult past who sees her work as a chance to help others. Together they form a duo that solves crimes across New York City.
