Pasión de Gavilanes

On a hacienda in Cundinamarca, Colombia, lives the Elizondo family: Bernardo, his wife Gabriela, their daughters Norma, Jimena and Sara, Norma's husband Fernando Escandón, and Don Martín Acevedo, a retired military officer who has been left paralyzed. Norma married Fernando at her mother's insistence, to hide a rape the young woman suffered. The marriage exists only on paper, because Norma's trauma keeps it from being consummated. Meanwhile, the Reyes brothers arrive at the estate as workers with one goal: to avenge their sister's death. Created by Julio Jiménez and aired on Telemundo, the telenovela sets the resentment of the Reyes against the life of a family hiding its own wounds.
