Synopsis of The Kardashians

The Kardashian-Jenner family stars in an American reality series that continues, in a different format, the show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which ended in 2021 after twenty seasons on E!. It now airs on Hulu and follows Kris Jenner and her daughters Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé Kardashian, along with their half-siblings Kendall and Kylie Jenner. The women let cameras into their everyday lives to reveal what lies behind the headlines. They talk about the pressure of running multibillion-dollar businesses, but also about lighter moments, with games and family jokes. The production is handled by Fulwell 73, with Danielle King serving as showrunner.

Trivia about The Kardashians

According to Hulu, the series premiere was the most-watched on the platform in its first three days in the United States, and also the most-watched among Star original series on Disney+ and Star+.

In November 2023, Disney CEO Bob Iger revealed that the series had become the most-watched unscripted production in Hulu's history.

In May 2023, during Disney's upfront presentation to advertisers, Hulu increased the series' order from forty episodes by twenty more.

According to Khloé, staying on cable television didn't fit the family's brand, which is why they moved to a streaming platform.

The first season has a 31% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on reviews from 16 critics, with an average rating of 5.80/10.

The Kardashians won Best Reality Show at the 2022 People's Choice Awards and repeated its win in 2024 as Reality Show of the Year.

In 2023, the series won Best Reality Docuseries at the MTV Movie & TV Awards.

Hulu renewed The Kardashians for a sixth and seventh season in July 2024; the sixth premiered in February 2025, and the seventh followed in October of that same year.
