The series follows Ruy, a young man of modest noble origins who seeks to make his way at court through his talent with the sword. It is set in the Christian kingdoms of the northern Iberian Peninsula in the 11th century. Fernando, Count of Castile, has become King of León after defeating Bermudo, the brother of his wife Sancha, in battle. She was next in the line of succession and, together with Leonese nobles such as Flaín, Count of León, and Ruy's grandfather, she plots to overthrow her husband and reclaim a throne that rightfully belongs to her. Ruy, eager to earn a place among the knights, finds himself caught in the middle of this plot. Jaime Lorente leads the cast. Created by José Velasco and Luis Arranz, the production airs on Prime Video.
