What Season 1 of The Studio

Matt Remick, played by Seth Rogen, has just been named head of Continental Studios, a struggling production company. He is a self-confessed movie buff who dreams of continuing to make films, but he works in a Hollywood that measures every decision by profit and where franchises carry more and more weight. To get through it, he and his team try to balance the company's demands with their creative ambitions. The episodes follow their setbacks: difficult shoots, a cast that won't offend anyone, and the constant desire to win over celebrities. Quinn and Sal, at odds over the studio's hierarchy, also drive the plot.
