Despite Everything

In Madrid, four sisters who live apart come back together to say goodbye to their mother, Carmen, who has just passed away. None of them leads a life like the others. Claudia is almost divorced and is going through a depression she barely manages to hide. Sofía is a rebellious painter who lives with her girlfriend, to whom she is engaged. Sara, the independent young woman, is a businesswoman who works in New York, while Lucía, the youngest, is a bohemian who lives by her own rules. For a short time, the four will have to put up with each other, get to know one another, and accept one another, even though none of them seems willing to give ground on their positions.
