Beastly

Kyle Kingson is a handsome, rich, and brilliant student at a high school in New York, used to everything going his way. His good looks have given him a confidence he uses without hesitation against classmates he considers less attractive, whom he humiliates in public. Now he aims to join the student council and takes for granted that the position will be his. However, Kendra Hilferty, a classmate with a goth style, challenges his candidacy. According to her, his merits come down to his looks and the superiority he believes they grant him. Kyle sees this challenge as an insult and feels his place at school is at stake. Directed by Daniel Barnz, the film presents a lead character played by Alex Pettyfer who must decide how to respond to the person questioning his place at the top of the social ladder, while the rivalry between the two grows in the school hallways.
