Freddy vs. Jason

Freddy Krueger needs people's fear to return, so he decides to resurrect the fearsome Jason. But the star of “Friday the 13th” is not willing to leave him the way clear. This format pitting two legendary movie monsters against each other is nothing new in film: Frankenstein faced the Wolf Man in 1943, and 28 years later he was resurrected to fight Dracula. Also, throughout the 20th century, the giant Godzilla showed up to take on King Kong and a series of mutants that spread panic across Japan. This time, two of the star killers from the horror films of the 1980s teamed up. The result is just what you'd expect: deaths, dismemberments and scantily clad women.
