The Men Who Stare at Goats

Journalist Bob Wilton is hunting for his next big story when he crosses paths with Lyn Cassady, an enigmatic man who claims to be part of a secret experimental unit of the U.S. Army. According to Cassady, the so-called New Earth Army is changing the way wars are fought. Its soldiers are the "Jedi Warriors," a legion with extraordinary abilities, capable of reading the enemy's mind, walking through walls, or killing a goat just by staring at it. Wilton listens closely to a story that sounds like military delusion but could become the defining report of his career. To tell it, however, he will have to decide how much to trust a stranger who speaks with total confidence about a project no one acknowledges. Directed by Grant Heslov, with George Clooney and Ewan McGregor in the lead roles.
