What Season 12 of NYPD Blue

The season begins with the arrival of a new commander from Internal Affairs, tasked with cleaning up the squad at the 15th Precinct in Manhattan. John Kelly and Andy Sipowicz keep working together, but the veteran drinks both on and off duty, and his behavior raises doubts that the partnership will last much longer. Kelly genuinely cares about him, though his exasperation keeps growing. On the personal front, Sipowicz reluctantly signs his divorce papers with Laura and begins a relationship with Janice Licalsi, a uniformed officer whose father, also a cop, is on the payroll of mob boss Angelo Marino. Meanwhile, the squad's cases are divided among Medavoy, Jones, Ortiz, Murphy and Clark.
