What Season 2 of NYPD Blue

Season two opens with Janice Licalsi on trial for murder. While her lawyer negotiates a plea deal that would cut her sentence to six years, John Kelly discovers he is in love with her and opposes that outcome. Andy Sipowicz keeps drinking on and off duty, and Kelly, though he feels a sincere fondness for him, grows more and more exasperated with his partner. Internal Affairs investigates the partnership over the arrest of two officers. Meanwhile, Donna and Medavoy hide their relationship until Lieutenant Fancy catches them, and Bobby Simone arrives at the precinct to work with Sipowicz.
