What Season 8 of NYPD Blue

Kelly and Sipowicz work together out of the 15th Precinct in Manhattan. Sipowicz is the veteran of the duo, but he drinks both on the job and off duty, and his behavior makes it seem unlikely the partnership will last. Kelly genuinely cares about him, though he grows more exasperated by the day. Sipowicz's personal life offers no relief either: he reluctantly divorces Laura and begins a relationship with Janice Licalsi, a uniformed officer whose father, also a cop, takes money from mob boss Angelo Marino. In the unit, Danny and Diane are in a relationship that Fancy sharply disapproves of, while Fancy prepares to leave. His replacement clashes with the group even before he has left the post.
