What Season 2 of Star Trek: Lower Decks

Season 2 kicks off three months after the events of the first season. The USS Cerritos, a modest Starfleet ship, takes part in a mission where a science fiction phenomenon releases a strange energy that Commander Ransom absorbs without realizing it. The series leaves the bridge behind and focuses on the lower decks, where Ensigns Mariner, Boimler, Tendi, and Rutherford handle their daily duties and try to keep their social lives going. Anomalies rock the ship's routine again and again. Boimler also has to share his quarters and responsibilities with Ensign Jet Manhaver, who has been assigned to them.
