So many dogs. So little time.

Roger Dearly is an American video game designer who lives in London with Pongo, his Dalmatian. Roger develops a game in which a dog chases another character, but the pitch is rejected because the villain isn't suitable. He tries to redesign it, although his changes don't quite work. His professional career is going through a difficult time, and the video game he's working on seems to be his best chance to get ahead. The film, directed by Stephen Herek, follows a man caught between his creative obligations and his everyday life in the British capital, with Pongo always by his side.

Trivia about 101 Dalmatians

More than 300 Dalmatian puppies were used during filming, since they could only be used when they were between five and six weeks old.
Glenn Close initially turned down the role of Cruella de Vil, which screenwriter John Hughes had offered her. She finally accepted after the insistence of the costume designer.
Cruella's car is a modified 1976 Panther De Ville.
At the British premiere, held on December 4, 1996 at the Royal Albert Hall in London, the building's facade was lit up with Dalmatian spots.
