In a dystopian Britain, eight finalists from a demanding job selection process prepare for what seems to be the final test. The group enters a room and sits at individual desks. On each desk is a printed sheet with the word "candidate" and a number from one to eight. The rules are simple: no questions may be asked, no one may leave the room, and the exam paper must not be damaged. The applicants have eighty minutes to answer a question that, at first glance, doesn't seem difficult. The film is directed by Stuart Hazeldine and stars Colin Salmon, Jimi Mistry and Luke Mably, among other actors.
