Meet the Parents

Greg Focker is a somewhat clumsy nurse who, after announcing his engagement to his girlfriend Pam, has to spend a few days with her parents to get to know them. Their first meeting won't go very well, especially because of the suspicions Greg raises in the strict father of the bride, an overprotective former CIA agent who is very hard to impress. From the start, Jim completely rejects Greg, but as he gets to know him better, his rejection turns into utter contempt, and he sets out to become the worst nightmare of this man who, despite loving his girlfriend and wanting to make a good first impression, sinks deeper into the mud of his own ineptitude, and must struggle hard to change the terrible opinion his girlfriend's family has of him.
