Pearl Harbor

Rafe and Danny grew up together in rural America, and their friendship has lasted through the years all the way to the ranks of the Army Air Corps, where the two are combat pilots. Rafe finds the love of his life in Evelyn, a brave nurse, but he is soon called to serve in the British Royal Air Force to fight the Nazis as a representative of the U.S. Army. Meanwhile, Danny and Evelyn are sent to the Pearl Harbor air base in Hawaii. Once there, the two fall in love while Rafe is shot down in combat. To everyone's surprise, Rafe survives and returns to Pearl Harbor, but everything gets complicated when a deadly bombing by the Japanese army occurs.
