Trivia about Business Proposal

The webnovel and webtoon had accumulated 450 million views worldwide by the end of February 2022, 160 million of them in South Korea alone.

Kim Se-jeong had predicted the series would perform better than expected, but she said she was surprised when the final episode drew twice the audience of the first.

It was the first Korean series produced and originally released by a local company to reach No. 1 on Netflix's weekly list of non-English series.

The crew added new scenes, such as a chase in which a shoe that alludes to Cinderella appears, so the story would feel more natural.

Part of the filming took place at Yongin Daejanggeum Park, Heyri Art Valley, and the 1004 yacht in Sinan County.

"Business Proposal" won several awards in 2022: Bae Woo-hee took Best New Actress at the Korea Drama Awards, and "Love, Maybe" won Best OST at the MAMA Awards.

Kim Se-jeong and Ahn Hyo-seop won Best Couple at the 2022 SBS Drama Awards; Kim Min-kyu and Seol In-ah received the same award for their pairing in the series.

The series held the No. 1 spot on Netflix's global non-English chart for two consecutive weeks, with nearly 23.5 million hours viewed the first week and nearly 31 million the next.
