In 2020, a wave of cyberattacks hits Tokyo, originating from catastrophes in the Digital World, a realm within the Internet where creatures called Digimon live. Tai Kamiya, a young boy, is pulled into the network and meets Agumon just as a swarm of Argomon attacks them. Soon after, he encounters Yamato "Matt" Ishida and his partner Gabumon. The three, with the help of Koushirou "Izzy" Izumi, must face threats that grow more and more dangerous. The series airs on Fuji TV and follows a group of children who, knowing little about that world, must learn to defend it and protect the real world.
