Synopsis of Hellbound
In South Korea, starting in 2022, supernatural beings begin appearing without warning. An angel materializes before certain people and hands them a decree setting the exact day and time of their damnation to hell. When the moment arrives, three demons appear to take the condemned person in a show of force before everyone. A detective investigates the phenomenon, while the leader of New Truth, a religious order that preaches divine justice, turns the events into its banner. A principled lawyer completes the trio of leads. Created by Yeon Sang-ho and released on Netflix, the series stars Yoo Ah-in as the leader of the new cult in its first season.
«They were resurrected into a hellbound world.»
