I Am Not a Robot

Kim Min-kyu, played by Yoo Seung-ho, is the chairman and majority shareholder of KM Financial, South Korea's largest financial company. He lives in near-total luxury because he suffers from a severe allergy to physical contact with other people: a single touch can cover his skin in rashes that spread quickly. As a result, he has never had a partner or been able to touch anyone. Jo Ji-ah, played by Chae Soo-bin, tries to build her own business around her inventions, including heart-shaped lamps. When their paths cross, she pretends to be a robot, and Min-kyu begins to feel what it means to fall in love for the first time. The series, which airs on MBC, explores the clash between the desire to get close to someone and a body that makes it impossible.
