What Season 2 of Law & Order

Season two begins with the murder of Sergeant Max Greevey, and Detective Mike Logan is determined to find the culprit. To get a confession, he crosses a line that puts at risk the case being built by District Attorney Stone. From there, the series keeps its usual formula: homicide detectives follow leads on the street, and Manhattan prosecutors take the case to court. Each case is self-contained, such as a double murder that touches the victims' ex-wife and ex-boyfriend, or a fire at a social club. The main characters appear almost always at work, with little room for their private lives.
