What Season 20 of Law & Order

The twentieth season of Law & Order keeps the show's format. Homicide detectives in New York, led by Sergeant Max Greevey and Detective Mike Logan, follow the leads until they track down a suspect. Then, Manhattan prosecutors build the case and take it to court. The starting point is a law professor who is named as a suspect after a crime, and whose work for the Department of Justice exposes torture during wartime. Cases follow one after another, with teenagers, journalists and politicians at the center of the plot. Connie Rubirosa, played by Alana de la Garza, becomes deeply involved in one of them. Rey Curtis, played by Benjamin Bratt, returns in a story about election scandals.
