What Season 6 of Law & Order
Detectives Briscoe and his new partner, Reynaldo Curtis, open the season with the murder of a young girl who vanishes between school and her music class. Homicide cops follow leads on the street, while Manhattan prosecutors prepare the charges. McCoy and Kincaid clash over the death penalty and bring a man who killed an undercover cop before the court. The cases keep coming: a magazine publisher, balaclava-wearing robbers, and a model addicted to cocaine. Curtis and Briscoe run into witnesses who don't want to cooperate. The series rarely dwells on its characters' personal lives.
