Synopsis of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic
Twilight Sparkle is a highly studious unicorn mare who lives in Equestria, a kingdom where earth ponies, pegasi and unicorns coexist. Her mentor, Princess Celestia, who rules the land, sends her to Ponyville with a mission: to study the magic of friendship and report her findings. Twilight makes no secret of her unease with the assignment, because she finds it hard to connect with others. Accompanied by her assistant, the dragon Spike, she must live alongside the townspeople and discover what unites those around her. Created by Lauren Faust, the series airs on Hub Network. Tara Strong voices Twilight.
