Synopsis of Sonic Prime
During a battle with Dr. Eggman, Sonic accidentally breaks the Paradox Prism, a crystal capable of altering reality. The collision destroys the universe and gives way to the Shatterverse, a multiverse of alternate dimensions called Shatterspaces. Each one is formed from a fragment of the Prism and is inhabited by versions of Sonic's friends, though none of them has a version of him. The hedgehog first arrives in New Yoke City, a futuristic dystopia version of Green Hill ruled by the Chaos Council, a group of Eggman variants who conquered the city with the power of their fragment. The villains want to gather all five fragments to dominate the entire Shatterverse, but Sonic and a resistance of city residents stand in their way. Sonic seeks to reassemble the Prism to restore his reality. The series streams on Netflix, and Deven Mack voices the lead character.
