Teach You a Lesson

In South Korea, the education system is on the verge of collapse. Bullying, physical violence, drugs, youth gangs and corruption have weakened teachers, who have few tools to enforce discipline. To regain control, the government creates the Office for the Protection of Educational Rights, an agency with broad powers to act against students, teachers and schools. Its inspector, Na Hwa-jin, a former special forces agent, is sent to various high schools to confront violent students and the parents and administrators who make the situation worse. He is joined by Im Han-rim, a former special forces officer, and Bong Geun-dae, a KAIST graduate who provides the strategy. Leading the project is Education Minister Choi Gang-seok. The series, based on the webtoon by Chae Yong-taek and Han Ga-ram, is directed by Hong Jong-chan and streams on Netflix.
