Synopsis of Scarlet Heart: Ryeo
During a solar eclipse, Ko Ha-jin, a 21st-century young woman, age 25, travels back to the year 941, during the Goryeo dynasty. She wakes up in the body of Hae Soo, a 21-year-old girl living among the many princes of the Wang family, under the reign of King Taejo. To avoid suspicion, she pretends to have lost her memory and tries to adapt to a court where every word counts. At first, she is drawn to Wang Wook, the eighth prince, a kind and good-hearted man. But rivalry and politics dominate the palace. The brothers compete for the throne and for love, and Hae Soo's decisions drag her into a conflict that puts those around her in danger. The series, created by Tong Hua based on her novel, airs on SBS and stars IU and Lee Joon-gi.
