High Crimes

Claire Kubik (Ashley Judd) is a driven, successful lawyer, married to a contractor, Tom Kubik (Jim Caviziel). The two live in the idyllic Marin County and are very much in love, so much so that she is considering growing the family. One night, burglars break into their home, and from that moment a series of strange events unfolds that will shatter their lives. Shortly after the robbery, FBI agents approach them and arrest Tom in the middle of the street in front of Claire. They accuse him of coldly murdering, under his real name, Ronald Chapman, and his real identity as a special operations soldier, nine civilians in El Salvador during an operation.
