Music and Lyrics

Alex Fletcher, a former pop singer from the 80 who is now in a serious slump, only performs at village fairs and other entertainment venues. Then one day, the diva Cora Corman invites him to record a duet on her new album, and Alex, who hasn't written a song in many years, has to create a “hit” in just a few days. His friend Sophie Fisher helps him write the lyrics. At first, Sophie, who has just come out of a bad love affair, has no desire to collaborate with anyone. But in the end, both she and Alex realize that they must face their fears.
