England, 1970. James Hunt is a young, reckless British racer, a party animal so nervous that he often throws up before every race. Niki Lauda is a reserved Austrian, a technical genius who trusts calculations more than luck. The two race in a Formula 3 Grand Prix in which both their cars go off the track and Hunt ends up winning. That clash of personalities and styles sparks a rivalry that follows them around every circuit. Lauda wants to make the jump to Formula 1 and needs money to do it. Meanwhile, Hunt lives for fame and parties with the same intensity he brings to the track. Directed by Ron Howard and starring Chris Hemsworth and Daniel Brühl, the film takes a look at the British racing scene of the era.
