Marty is a struggling screenwriter who has been stuck on his new project, a script titled Seven Psychopaths. He has the title and the idea, but not a single character to bring the story to life. He lives in Los Angeles, where his lack of inspiration keeps him from moving forward. His best friend, Billy, is an unemployed actor who makes ends meet by kidnapping dogs and collecting the reward for returning them to their owners. Billy wants to help him any way he can, convinced that Marty just needs a little focus and some inspiration to finish the script. Directed by Martin McDonagh, Colin Farrell and Sam Rockwell star as Marty and Billy.
