The story of a man who has the girl of his dreams and doesn't realize it.

George Wade is a billionaire owner of a New York construction company who can't seem to solve anything without Lucy Kelson, his legal adviser. Lucy is a brilliant lawyer with an endless list of tasks, and the pace of work has given her an ulcer and robbed her of sleep, because George wakes her up constantly. What exhausts her most is not the job itself, but her boss's attitude, which treats her almost like a babysitter. Fed up with the situation, Lucy decides to leave. George tries to stop her at all costs and refuses to lose the only person who makes his life possible.

Trivia about Two Weeks Notice

Filming took place in New York and was the first Hollywood production shot there after the September 11 attacks.

Hugh Grant was the first choice for the role, and he and Sandra Bullock already wanted to work together before the project began.

Marc Lawrence wrote the screenplay while working on Miss Congeniality, and asked Sandra Bullock to read it. She liked it enough to star in it and produce it.

Director Marc Lawrence suffered headaches, sinus infections and a herniated disc during filming, and had to undergo a root canal.

The movie grossed 199 million dollars worldwide against an estimated budget of 60 million; 93.35 million came from the United States and Canada.

Sandra Bullock insisted that the movie be shot entirely in New York instead of Toronto, and filming lasted 17 weeks.

The last-minute changes to the shoot sparked speculation in the tabloid press before the release, although Bullock defended the project as both producer and star.

The movie won two awards and earned three nominations, according to IMDb, although that source does not specify in the results consulted what they were.
