A Private Affair

In Galicia in the late 1940s, Marina Quiroga is a young woman from high society with a great passion for mystery. The sister of police commissioner Arturo Quiroga, she is frustrated by the few opportunities women have in the police force, which pushes her to take matters into her own hands. When a serial killer murders several sex workers and leaves a fleur-de-lis carved into their chests, Marina decides to track him down. To do so, she enlists Héctor, her butler, a sensitive, discreet and observant man who has become her loyal friend. Together they must face the prejudices of a society that cannot accept a woman investigating a crime, as well as other obstacles that hinder their search. Created by Ramón Campos, Teresa Fernández-Valdés and Gema R. Neira, the series streams on Amazon Prime Video and stars Aura Garrido and Jean Reno.
