What Season 9 of Family Guy

The season opens with an hour-long episode in the style of Agatha Christie. The Griffins and other Quahog neighbors spend a weekend at a huge mansion, where they must solve a mystery and figure out who the culprit is. After that, the series splits into standalone stories. Peter gets hooked on Red Bull and ends up needing a kidney transplant, while Lois makes her boxing debut and Brian tries to publish a book with Stewie's help. Brian also wants to sabotage a Rush Limbaugh book signing for political reasons. Chris and Meg have their own storylines, and Meg keeps enduring the usual mockery. The conflicts arise from the excesses and whims of each family member.
